On our sixteenth day of Alaska Native Heritage Month, we’re highlighting “Courtesans of Flounder Hill” by Tlingit/Inupiat poet Ishmael Hope. While Ishmael has a considerable catalogue, including additional poetry books, this was his first published collection of poetry.
